Let It Be ...Naked

...had the urge for some Beatles late last night!
I Listened once again to 'Let It Be...Naked!

This is the 'unpolished' version of 'Let It Be!'

...as is printed in the notes...
' So here it is at last, 'Let It Be...Naked'
-the bare bones of the Beatles' music heard in January, 1969.'

On several of the songs I like this better than 'Let IT BE' ( the original one! )

I finished my night with 'Please Please Me'

...a very good Beatles night!

  1. Junie, I can't imagine a bad Beatles night. I love those guys. Listening to their music transports me back to a very good time.

  2. :) Joy-

Funny thing about me and the Beatles- at the time they came about I was too busy being a young mom and didn't get into their music (or any) that much!
(I've probably mentioned that before here )

The past couple years I have been playing 'catch-up' with my music!

    Fun!!

'Long and Winding Road' & 'Let It Be'
have to be 2 of the most beautiful songs ever written by anyone!

...Oh, and so many more really great songs they have, too!

(better late than never! :) )

  3. I really like the Let it Be Naked versions. I remember reading that Paul really hated that whole Phil Specter arrangement stuff.

  4. Hey, even my sons enjoy the Beatles and a lot of other groups from our era. Good music never dies.

  5. Stringman,

I don't know all the Beatles' History,
as my BeatleFan Friends (Fanatics) do,
having come so late to the world of Beatles- :)

...but I DO know I love them more each time I play their music-ANY of it!!

I have both LIB & LIBN-.I like to play them, one after the other, trying to decide which one I like best! Lol- so far the experiment hasn't worked- I love them both!

....am I becoming a Beatles Fanatic???

    :)

  6. Doug,

That's cool that you can share the same music with your kids!

You're right! Good music lives on and on!
