Our sunset today!

This evening I was able to pull Charlie away from his news programs to take me for a ride in the country to view the sunset!

Beautiful!

  1. Junie, it looks like you've developed a case of GPS... Giant Picture Syndrome! I got the same thing when I switched to the new Blogger... Google doesn't resize your pictures when it uploads them, like Blogger used to. Nowadays, I have to go into my photo editing program and resize my pictures to about 1024x768 so that they don't become giant when people click on them.

Beautiful sunset, by the way! I was hoping to capture some nice ones for you while I was down in Key West, but alas, the one time I actually SAW a sunset, I didn't have a camera with me!

  2. Hi Skye,

I didn't realize the pictures were so huge! :(

Will see what I can do about it!

  3. Annoying, isn't it? I was quite displeased when mine first started doing that! Don't worry, though; it's not a big deal.

It's possible that the program you use to fancy up your pictures sometimes - put frames on them, etc - may also let you resize them. I've found that 1024x768 is a good size... and I think 1600x1200 would also be small enough to fit the whole picture on your computer screen, though I'm not sure.

Good luck! I hope you figure it out!

  8. Absolutely breathtaking, Junie...the whole sky looks like it's made of gold!! Your pictures are only big if we click on them, they're fine on your blog. I wouldn't worry too much about it, mine are doing the same:-) xox

Well, I don't know how to fix the pictures -so they will have to be big! For now anyway!
