Welcome to Junie's place.
Here will be things dear to my heart...thoughts and feelings about family, friends, nature, my crafts, my animals, my poems, favorite music,
MY PAST and daily happenings.
Hope you enjoy visiting with me!
~~Comments Always Welcome~~
~It's the only way I'll know you've visited!
I always loved the Bottle Brush trees. We had one in our yard in Miami. They do well in south Fl.
I was surprised that they also grow here in north Fl- tho you don't see a lot of them and I don't recall seeing any real big/old ones growing here. This makes me think that they might, occasionally, be hurt when we have unusually cold winters here. So far our 2 are doing well. This is the first year they have had a lot of blooms, and I was thrilled to see it!
Wisteria is so lovely. What a lovely piece of property you have there. I bet it looks so wonderful now with the flowers blooming and all the greenery everywhere. Terrific slideshow! Now get out there and do some gardening before the Gnome Lady gets mad at you!! My mother is coming tomorrow morning for a weekend visit. I won't be blogging while she is here, so I will have Blog Church up tonight. Have a Happy Easter!!!!
Yes, we do have a pretty place here-(although it overwhelms us , at times) I'm thankful we have all the beauty around us! I love doing those slides- loved the little butterflies that I added to it!!
...Yah, I gotta get on the roses before that little Gnome lady reports me! :) And that's my plan for next week- for sure!
Having all the family for Easter so that will keep me busy for now through the weekend!
Have a Happy Easter, JD, and enjoy your mom's visit! I KNOW you will!
OH! Will see you in Blog Church! I honestly enjoy that and think it's a good thing (over and beyond the fun part of it all!) This was a good idea you had! :)
Hi June, the slide show is great, thanks for your concern, I'm fine but sad to say My daughter has just found out she has a brain tumor and faces surgery in the near future, this has taken the gloss of my Easter I'm afraid (literally.)
Hi Junie, Beautiful flowers love the wisteria, and Bottle brush, I have a large bottle brush growing will take a snap and show it soon. HAPPY EASTER to you , Bill and all the family ...
Wonderful slide show! I love the wisteria! I've grown some for a couple years and it grows like crazy but no blooms. I've read about several people that never get blooms. Love it on the fence!
Lovely!! The Bottle Brush bush takes me back to my growing up days in So. Calif. We had huge ones in our back yard.

ReplyDeleteHi Jean,
ReplyDeleteI love Wisteria too...Seems like some of the most wonderful flowers are in bloom such a short time- as it is with Wisteria.
Here in north Florida I see Wisteria growing wild in wooded areas - a fantastic sight to see as it grows up into the tallest trees!
Happy you enjoyed the slide show!
Junie
I can't advise you on how to get blooms- though I DO know the ones on our place are old plants.
Gel,
ReplyDeleteHappy you like the slide show.
It's easy to do and you have a lot of choices with this program. You might want to check it out!
Junie
Jeanette,
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by and I'm glad you like my slide show of spring flowers.
Happy Easter !
