She's back!!

Yes!

She's back!

After an early start from home, Tuesday, July 29th, we arrived in Atlanta area with time to spare before the concert to see Mark Knopfler at Chastain Park!

( I played these on the trip up!)



Actually, we had reserved a motel room in Marietta, Ga
which is a bit north of the city of Atlanta and also north of the concert place!

We had time for a nice meal at Cracker Barrel and then it was time to get ready to go...


Here we are....

...."I got the tickets!"




... "And ~ I got the directions!"





Sounds simple enough ~ right?



We'll see.......

    Marietta's got a charming downtown square. We lived there and it was where D1 was born.

    Hi Fred,

    We didn't see much of Maretta. I wish we had had more time there! LOL- My husband says that's the last trip he'll make to Atlanta! haha- Yes- we 'old folks' got lost and had a bad time there! Oh, well!! :)

    I DO love North Ga, and we considered moving to Gainesville, Ga. way back...but I'm kinda glad we settled in Ocala, after all.
