from my life now.
This was taken on my one and only trip to NYC, in 1982. We were there with our daughter who was getting settled into FIT college.
I guess this is Time's Square~ right? :)

Oh, Junie, I was there ONE time also. Never had any desire to go back, but it was definitely an interesting experience. ALL THOSE TAXI CABS!!!! hahaha
ReplyDeletehahaah- yes-I remember those taxi cabs! LOL- I lost a shoe, trying to cross a street...had to hold up traffic-;) They were kinda 'Not too happy' with me-but I'm lucky they didn't run me over!!

I once lost my shoe in the subway grating
so there I was - one shoe on as the train doors closed and my other shoe was standing there on the platform!!
Great pic...if that's Times Square...it has changed a ton! :)

I wonder if that happens often- because everyone seemed so rushed-when we were there...if your shoe comes off-tough luck!! :)
