...and on the subject of music...
I had a fabulous night of Youtube viewing last night.
A friend had told me I should check out McCartney's recent tour at Citi-field, NY ( July, 2009) so I watched several vids.
Yep-Paul still has it- don't you agree?
Thanks for the use of this vid

The Beatles - so many wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteI do think Paul has withstood the years wonderfully.
Often wonder what we would have had from John.
Carletta,
ReplyDeleteYes-How horrible we lost John so young and in such a way...( tritely stated!)
No doubt, the Beatles were a tremendous creative talent-together and separately,as well!
Harrison gave us some wonderful songs-after the Beatles! I often listen to his post Beatles albums.
I have always loved Paul and the Beatles. So anything he does is wonderful to me.
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the fan list ~ I've always loved Paul and The Fab Four.
ReplyDeleteI'm listening to "Desperado" ~ great song.
Happy belated Ruby Tuesday!
Thanks, ladies! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL-maybe we should all join a Beatles fan forum...nahhh- we can 'celebrate' the Beatles in our own way- right here!
You know me by now and know I like to mention my music adventures from time to time...and Beatles (especially Paul and George) are high on my list... ...So are The Who!!!
LOL-OK- just below Dan Fogelberg...He will ALWAYS be my #1!
(Miss him!)

I wonder if he ever thought he'd still be performing in his late 60's:-) I've always loved the Beatles, ever since hearing my oldest brother Denis playing his Beatles records. Just like Elvis, their music will never die:-) xoxo
ReplyDeleteAhh..the Beatles! What an impact they made on America way back when!
ReplyDeleteLooks like he's still working his magic though!
He can sure tear the place up yet. Thanks Junie
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was George, for some reason known Only to my youthful mind!Hahaa...
ReplyDeleteCool red!
hughugs
HiLadies,
ReplyDeleteGeorge really found himself AFTER the band broke up! He had greater success than any of them -post Beatles-IMO
Well, I have to admit that I only became a Beatles fan in recent years. When C. and I were first married we listened only to country music-(His choice) and it was ok with me because I was mostly into my 3 babies and music was not that important to me! :)
lol- well- HOW did I get off on all that?? Oh well-That's me!
