Alli got a puppy today and they brought him up to introduce him to us after dinner tonight!
He's a Dachshund-but not a smooth haired one and not a solid color. He's a wire-haired, brown and white spotted pup!
'Cooper'
Here are some pics of the young folks getting to know the new pup.
( Tina, Alli, Dan,Brian and Joy (my daughter-in-law)
Cooper is a little timid right now but that's to be expected.
(But he does like to chew fingers and toes-as most pups do!)
He'll soon get used to everyone and his new home. Alli will have time with him before going back to school to help train him and get him settled into his new place and with all his new people. The boys also are home a lot right now so he'll get a lot of attention!

...A new chapter in our life...
Junie
Ohh, I LOVE him!!!!!!!!!! Too bad he isn't going to be living at YOUR house, Junie, or I might get to see him next time I dream about coming to visit you! :D
ReplyDeleteOmigosh, he's so adorable!! Makes you wish they'd stay small like that:-) I love the name Cooper as well, seems to really suit him. What fun it will be to have this new family member to spend time with! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a great addition to the family. He is going to be one spoiled puppy with all that attention. Of course you can never really spoil a Doxie. I have only had a short-haired Doxie, but I have heard that wire-haired have the most out-going personalities.
ReplyDeleteWell, Cooper is Really a cutie Miz Junie!
