I almost didn't carve my pumpkins...but I just can't give up my tradition that I have been following all these years.
Here they sit on my kitchen counter- just for my own amusement- as there are no kids to be coming around...not even my grown-up grands...
We have no Trick-or-Treaters come around out here in the country, so I didn't bother putting my pumpkins back outside. I'd rather enjoy them in here until I get to bed long past mid-night.
My husband is sleeping in front of the TV and will probably not even notice my guys here- even if he does wander into this room before his bedtime!
Oh, well...this is for the kid that is still a part of Junie Rose!
:)
Happy Halloween!

Sheesh! We had two hundred visitors and were out of treats by 7 o'clock. It was nuts!
ReplyDeleteWOW! That's a lot!
ReplyDeleteIn the past I always enjoyed seeing all the kids dressed up in costumes and having fun! I miss it!

May you never lose the tradition of carving pumpkins, it's so much a part of Halloween...even if you are the only one who sees them! lol You did a terrific job:-) I find it such a shame, though, that you don't get any trick or treaters at all. We had 70 this year so I'm happy! xoxo
ReplyDeletehi Pea,
ReplyDeleteYes! I miss the trick-or- treaters!
lol- You had 70...My other friend in Canada said he had 200! ;) I guess it's just where we live now because in Miami we always had a lot of kids come by....but that was many years ago.
