Our day~Charles' medical appointment...

~~~
Today we had an appointment to go for skin cancer surgery  on Charles' face. The place we go is here- near Hernando- about 1 & I/2 hours drive from our place.
Here we are ready to leave our house for his 1:30 appointment. I took along the book I'm currently reading for the long procedure we have learned to expect.
  Charles takes these things  quite calmly, after having had them several times-on his face and arms and hands.  I'm always nervous about them and am greatly relieved when they can tell us they got it all. None of these skin cancers he's had have been the worse kind- but might develop into the bad ones if not taken care of.
We decided - after his appointment was over-that we should go on over to Inverness to a favorite place we know, for an early dinner.  Stumpknockers is a great place for fried Catfish...and they serve the best mushrooms ever!! We were not disappointed- although it wasn't the best of times for such an outing...and my picture attempts were mostly unsuccessful!
:(
Inverness is a beautiful, old Fl town!
I love this courthouse, don't you?
So-here we are-back home and settled in for the night! All is well.
