This is one of my favorites things of spring, here in north Florida!
(...but only it's name can truly be called red!)

Here in Northern California they are not yet in bloom but will be soon. They are beautiful when they bloom.
ReplyDeleteThey are such a beautiful tree in the spring...it is confusing the name being Red Bud...when it blooms bright pink.
ReplyDeleteWaaaaaaaaaaa it's snowing here again! lol I wish we had signs of Spring like your Red Bud tree but unfortunately Mother Nature is not done with winter in my little corner of the world. For now I'll have to content myself by looking at your beautiful pictures:-) xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh, I haven't seen redbud since my days in Kentucky and Georgia. Out here in the West, it's a whole lotta sagebrush and only a few trees!

ReplyDeleteAs we came up our long driveway this afternoon I made my husband slow down by the Redbud tree to see if ANYTHING was happening. It isn't. :( It is early here though I just need to be patient in the 56degree weather we had today.
