Barn Charm_Aug 30, 2011

~

I've always loved seeing old barns...well, new ones, too, but the old ones have more charm for me.  I always look for barns to capture in my camera lens on our trips to Alabama.

This is one we saw on our trip this year.

  4. Looks like this barn is almost ready to fall down. But still it does look very charming.

  5. That certainly is a beauty, Junie, I always say the older the barn, the better:-) I even like the ones that hardly have any planks left on them, I just say it's well air conditioned! lol xoxo

  6. Nice! Even tho I get sad seeing barns being abandoned, I love how the ivy is growing on this one.

  7. The ivy and the faded red paint give this old barn its true charm!
We just need a couple of chairs under the tree and some glasses of tea. :)
    Nice find Junie!

  8. I kind of thought all the greenery might be its support...I always love ivy growing on buildings and my husband always points out how bad it is for the structure!

  9. I think that's more ivy than barn at this point. Neat find.
