Four years ago today is the day Mom left us.
( Maybe this is the reason I have been feeling so downhearted the past few days. January will always be a sad month for me, I expect...)

I'm so sorry that this month will always bring you sadness. I am grateful to still have both my parents living. I have lost other loved ones, and I can relate to the way grief never really goes away, even after many years. We do learn to live with it, only because we have to, but there's a hole left that will never be filled.
