Florida Sunshine

The Honey Bells are ready!

Unless we get a hard freeze ( not likely) we will have oranges and grapefruit for the next several months!

These Honey Bells are the best ever- big, juicy and sweet!

Although these are pictures from another year, this is what I will be doing later today!

Pure Florida sunshine ~ from me to you! ;)

Love,

Junie

I just wiped the slobber off the keyboard hoping it didn't get down in between the keys. That fruit looks so delicious I couldn't help it!

I wish I could share with you!

We have much more than our family can use.

  5. Great looking oranges - the granddaughter's band shipped some navels up and sold them as a fund raiser - we got three boxes. They are yummy! ec

  6. Okay, in Nebraska we would call what you just posted a 'power show'.
I've never wanted to live elsewhere but given my love of really good oranges you have made me envious. WOW!
On your post below. Eloquent as it was I have two thoughts. The missing pieces of the puzzle just means you have grandkids and the cool safe place would describe the caves (torando shelters) in Nebraska. Safe, cool, and full of spiders and snakes.

  7. Thanks,

    Pea, Joy, Mr. Eddie,

All you guys - Wish I could share these with all of you!

HoneyBells are the best for juice that we know of!

  8. Cliff,

:) didn't mean to make anyone envious of my oranges- as wonderful as they are! hahaha
Downside of the honeybells are that they are short lived- (do not hold up long on the tree after ripening) Grapefruit last for months!

...That confusing post below :) ... just some rambling thoughts of trying to figure out some people who I have known.

In fact- some of the missing pieces ARE my grandkids! :)

LOL- That cool, safe place you mention , full of spiders and snakes, doesn't sound too restful!

    :)

    Take care,

  9. Oh my Lord those look juicy *drool... sorry...
And those butterfly pics are simply gorgeous.

It being so grey and cold here this past week, its odd to see a mix of Santa Clause, oranges and sunflowers ;)
