Photo Projects~ PG & PLT

This is Anna's new photo project ~

Project Green!

I couldn't be happier with this choice of color because Green has always been my favorite !
( But you knew that- right?) :)

So I will be searching my picture files and looking for new green things to 'shoot' for my contributions here!
Here is my first one!

I found this moth in my yard ~ but not recently! The name of this is 'Sphinx.'

~~~
I will also put a 'Looking Through' picture here today. Go here for other links for PLT posters!
Mark is host for this project!
This is a recent view of my wildflower meadow~ through the spokes of this old wheel!
  1. That is a COOL moth! There are so many things on this planet of ours that are so alien looking. It's amazing how many different species there are and new ones being found every day.
  2. Hi B13,
    Yep- yer right- and I'm fascinated by so many things that I find to photograph!
    This moth is big...I would say at least 1 1/2 Inches wide...Funny thing about this, too, is my husband found another similer one- identical, really- except for the color which was shades of golden/tan! :0 He found it at a Wal-Mart parking lot one night and brought it home to me in a bag!
    LOL- I like the gifts he brings me sometimes!
  3. Hi, Junie,
    I like your moth. I'll have to get out and look for some green. Being in Florida, that shouldn't be too hard, should it.
    I love your title for your spokes.
    What a creature! Here in Sweden is quite 'peaceful' about exotic insects...
