Yellow Butterfly ( May 7th Post #3)

( see below this for today's earlier posts )

~~~
I was left with sadness after seeing this butterfly today.
Although still very beautiful this little creature seemed to be near the end of it's life span.
It was not on any flowers or plants but on the rock work around the fish pond.
It was not moving very much and it's wings looked a little ragged.
I got a few pictures then left it to whatever life still had in store. :(
  3. It's a beauty! Unfortunately, butterflies only have a short few weeks' lifespan. It doesn't seem right that something so pretty has to leave us so quickly, but maybe they are really angels or something :)
  7. Beautiful photo Junie!
    Everyone seems sad that the little guy may be "just winging it" for a little while. But their life cycle is what it is - about 2 weeks - a short yet beautiful life!
    I'm going to give Sarah's music a listen.
    Hope you're having a splendid day!
