Crystal River

Today was a beautiful day here in north Fl. Charles and I decided to enjoy it by taking a long ride over to Crystal River.
(west coast from Ocala)

We wanted to go for lunch at this really good restaurant we've visited a few times in the past. One of their specialities is catfish! That's what I chose and you can see the amount of fish on that plate! LOL- I gave several pieces to Charles. He chose a cheese burger, which he kept saying was the best he had ever had. (however, he also loved my catfish!!) Oh! And we had one of the best cups of clam chowder I've ever had, too!--And a side dish of "delish" mashed potatoes; made from those little red skinned potatoes!!

The scenery over there is very pleasing to see. It's so much fun to take little day trips, even a few miles from home. Not sure how far it is over there...50-60 miles maybe.

We also stopped at a couple yard/garage sales along the way!...Didn't buy much tho! Found a Barbie Doll for me in " Little Debbie" dress...and a little car for Drakey Poo-and Charles found a Hammer that he just had to have! Can't have too many of those around-he says! 

All in all- we had a wonderful day! Hope you all did too!

Drake and his Dad stopped by today and Drake wanted to check out that scary guy who has been hanging out in our front entrance for a couple of days!

Nope! He was not afraid of him, at all!

Drake is finding this October month to be a fun time! Me too!

Good Morning, Sunshine!

It's a beautiful, sunny day here-welcomed, after the rainy day we had yesterday! 

... But Drakey and I will have to stay in the house because the mosquitoes are so bad out there!

 They don't bother me but they LOVE the taste of our baby boy!! 

 ...and the remedy that Charles has discovered (pinning clothes dryer sheets to his clothes) does not work for Drake!!

It was rainy and windy here yesterday, due to that tropical storm...today is sunny and bright!

I have my baby Drakey today!   :)

Joy had invited 2 young mommies and their babies over for a gathering and play date at her house today! I guess plans have changed-at least it has for the playing in Drake's pool!  ...And it's not a good day for anyone to be out for any reason."

Joy's guests came, even with the rain. Charles and I went over there too, but just for a short while, so I didn't get many pics of the babies together. Only a couple of my baby Drake!!

I was not feeling well so we came home early!

LOVE my 1st cup...and I like to pick my favorite mug of the day!

Speaking of favorite coffee mugs...this is the one I chose today. Alli gave me this for Christmas and I love everything about it!

...however-it didn't make my job of taking on my bill paying and household bookkeeping any easier!!

 (And I couldn't "Let It Be" any longer ...)

 

I was doing this ALL the long day- from mid-morning until supper time. :( 

 ...a job I really, REALLY don't like to do these days...but I got it finished-ONE MORE TIME!! Yah!!! :)
