Another of those days

Just a gloomy day here and I can't seem to get my thoughts
or actions channeled in the right directions.

It has been rainy and overcast all day.
Of course we need the rain so THAT should make me happy!
My rose garden is looking really pretty with our recent watering.
I just don't feel up to doing all I should-and HAVE done in past years,
in my garden!

It's not just physical stamina I'm lacking!
Who am I kidding!!

...but - from me to you - fresh flowers from my garden!

~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am listening to my Fogelberg music today!
I hope that will help !
...Some lyrics from the CD-
'Exiles'
'What You're Doing'
(Dan Fogelberg)
Look...what you're doing
Baby what in heaven are you thinking of?
Look...what you're doing
Will you throw away such sweet, sweet love,
Will you throw away such sweet, sweet love.
Thanks!
I like that dark rose color one- with the abundant blooms. It's an old rose- very fragrant and has tons of blooms- requires little care!
Hi June ~~ We have our "off" days and
thankfully they are not as frequent as
our happy days. Thanks for comments.
I physically cannot do my garden these days, so am very grateful when I get help from my sons. My girls are too far
away for that. Take care, Merle.
Beautiful roses. I'm enjoying the Magnolias, how about you?
Yah- I think the rainy day played a big part in my mood today! :) but after taking a walk among my roses I felt better! :)
Doug,
Oh Yah! Love the Magnolias! In fact-I made a close-up picture of one this past weekend when we were on the ride! It was at the entrance of that horse farm in Summerfield.
I'll post it! :)
I have a Magnolia tree but it has never bloomed!
Junie
