Dan's belated B'day

Today we had a belated birthday lunch/ celebration for Dan! (Our oldest grandson)
Our kids in Orlando couldn't come this week-and Marc (Dan's dad) wasn't able to be home either. We missed everyone!
(Chris was here but not in the pics.)

Well- I can just say they missed some good times and some good food! Charles cooked ribs on the grill. Excellent! And I made my 'World Famous' Cole Slaw! ( ha ha) And we had baked potatoes, baked beans, and chips and dips!

We had a carrot cake and ice cream- also the cookie-cake with Dan's greeting!

~~~
Here are a few pics from our day!
*Dig Dan's tattoo! This is from one of his favorite Asian movies.*
We had a good day!
Love,
Ginga
  5. Happy Birthday Dan!.....was the tattoo part of Dans birthday present.....maybe to himself.... It's always great fun when our grown grandchildren come to celebrate with us....my oldest granddaughter is Megan and she is 21, and we had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas....she has her own apartment, so she had to drive here from Indiana by her self..... it was a treat for me to see her...kids don't seem to mind driving places far away alone, for some reason....I wish I the guts to do it..... by the way your talking about food, made me hungry......have a good day.....
  6. Hi Judy,
    No, the tattoo is not new. He had it done a couple years ago! Surprised us all with it-but I've gotton used to it by now. :) It's an unusual looking one that he designed himself.
    We enjoyed the day with the family.
