My visitor today...
In my WAY BACK garden area- this fellow came to visit today... Startled me, momentarily, but I recovered and got a few pics! You can not get very close to a Black Racer, BUT I tried! ;)
:) I knew that little snake was harmless so I didn't mind meeting him like that. If you just get to know which are the 'bad' ones it takes the fear away!
A cool visitor June, I take it black racers are fast and non-venomous.
ReplyDeleteNeat looking snake. Would have loved some video :)
ReplyDeleteI saw RUSH back when "Presto" came out back in '89. "2112" is still their best though ;)
Hi June ~~ Better at your place than at mine!!! Thanks for your comments.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you like my fairies, and even that cow. Take care, Love, Merle.
Hi Peter,
ReplyDeleteYes--right on both- and - he was almost too ast for me to capture with my camera, even!
June
b13,
ReplyDeleteThat snake encounter happened so quickly I didn't think of getting a video of him! Lol- he was quick too- I probably couldn't have anyway.
I am just now getting into RUSH! :) I'm a little late! But I like them a lot.
Junie
~~~shivers~~~
ReplyDeleteYikes I would have run for the hills...no pictures...no nuthin!!
Tammy,
ReplyDelete....but he was more afraid of me than I of him! He's the one who'raced' away! :)
Really, if you just get to know which snakes are the poisonous ones it will take away your fear of the harmless ones!
Junie
Thank god we don't have too many snakes over here in the UK :-)
ReplyDeletePhilip,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. I'm always pleased to see new names and faces here. :)
I don't mind meeting those harmless snakes at all around our place!
