This old fashioned rose grows here at our place in northern Florida!
I've had this one for many years ~ transported it from our home in Miami
when we moved here more than 22 years ago!
I love the fragrance and the full and frilly look of this rose - and it's almost always in bloom!

it seems like days of long ago.
This one reminds me of the pink roses that used to hang from the fence in my Grandparents front yard when I was growing up.

Just beautiful, My first thought with the picture is that it looks sad some how. But one should never put human feelings to such things. Still it reached into me and that is what makes this picture work so well.
How wonderful that it has lived so long in your garden. The old-fashioned roses have the best aroma, I think!
You are right Roses does smells so good and it last longer than most of the flowers. Happy Tuesday!
