Mellow Yellow Monday- Sept 26, 2011

In our area, in late summer and fall,
the
'Goldenrod'
brightens up the roadsides and open fields.
These clouds of bright yellow wildflowers
always make me smile.

I'm surprised as I (for some strange reason) always thought Goldenrod was a plant of the south! HA! I need to read more about these plants!
