I can't resist buying these potted Hibiscus plants occasionally, although I have little success in getting them to grow and bloom well this far north in Fl.
I had lots of these flowers when we lived in Miami.
They are beautiful and I miss them!

I love them also, Junie! My mom and daughter both had a green thumb for growing them, but not me. (I'm sure you're not surprised). :)

As you know I love flowers....but these days it's a chore to keep up! :( Getting old is not as wonderful as one might expect- with all the hype we've heard over the years about the 'Golden Years!' lol-OK-OK-I'll stop!!

Sometimes, having a plant thrive in a pot for awhile is enough. We are doing that with Mums right now as they don't seem to grab hold here, even though they're supposed to.
I'd have to agree with the previous comment. I like flowers in pots and that way I can baby them for a little while, and enjoy them and be ok when they go without investing a lot of time in flowerbeds in my 'getting old' stage. :)
