Hi June ~~ Lovely photos. Glad you enjoyed the 4th July holiday with a ride in the country. Your back must be OK, I hope so anyway. Take care Merle.

Hi Merle,

My back is better but we didn't ride the motorcycle.

It was a lovely sunset. It just thrills me the way the colors change from moment to moment! :)

Thanks Peter,

Yes , a sunset is always worth whatever it takes to capture!

...if I remember correctly, you have a perfect sunset viewing spot from your back porch! Lucky you!! :)

These are superb photos.

I hope you enjoyed the July 4th holiday. I only wish your sweet doggie hadn't gone missing afterwards.

Thanks, Jamie Dawn,

There's always beauty to balance out the sadness. :)

I just have to remember that 'Nighty' did have a long and happy life here in the country...and there's always a chance someone is looking out for her- since we didn't find her!
