My day today-2-28-07
Hi Folks,
I had an early appt. at the dentist to finish my 2 crowns!
Wow! Now I really feel like a queen- especially since one of the crowns is gold!
Going by the $ I have put into my teeth the past couple years they must all be gold!
Oh! But it is only $$$ and I'm worth it! ;)

I was very tired this morning and had to be up a little earlier than usual. Actually, my appt. was at 10:00 and the dentist is about a 45 minute drive from us, so it would have been fine to get up my usual time of 8:00!
I find, though, if I have something to do I wake up earlier-eventhough I tend to have more trouble getting to sleep the night before!
(because of the thought of an early rising!)
It sort of plays havoc with my day-having early appointments!
:) Yes I know!! Some folks have to get up early every morning !

I wish I could hear some good news that he has recovered from cancer! Very sad!

Did you know John Travolta has a home just 2 miles from our place! It's true! But I haven't had the pleasure of bumping into him around our little town!
(but then , he hasn't had the pleasure of meeting me either! haha!)

Oh.....I like that "John Travolta hasn't had the pleasure of meeting me either". Very good. Made me smile.
And the picture below...the cabin in the snow. Looks very serene and peaceful! I love the quiet!!

the movie doesn't start until March 2 or so I thought...I can't wait to see it...

Yes, it's pretty exciting that he lives here in our little town...actually lives very close to us. He's in a gated community built next to an air strip and I can see the tail of his jet when he's home! He's here a lot , too!
He has nice things to say about this area.
However, the opening of this movie and his appearance there is by Invitation only VIP...Lol- that leaves us out!
I have always liked Travolta's movies so I'm sure I'll see the movie- probably after it's out on dvd!

And John Travolta has a house so close to you???? I've loved him since his Vinnie Barbarino days..sighhhhh!! Well, John has lived in our town for about 5 years now and I haven't yet run into him! (lol- guess he doesn't shop at Wal-Mart that much!) Several ppl we know have seen him-including our grandson.
:0 I'll keep an eye out for him and, if possible, will get an extra hug for you-WHEN I see him! ;)
Oh!! He sure was a handsome young man! I loved him as Barbarino too! and then in Saturday night Fever and Grease...oh I liked ALL his later movies too!

Yes, very sad about Dan Fogelberg. It was announced he has advanced prostate cancer- about 3 years ago.

I think John Travolta seems like a really good man.
Who knows for sure, but it seems that way to me.
Some day, maybe HE will have the pleasure of meeting YOU. If he asks for your autograph, please be kind and give it to him. :)

Yes, I think he's a good guy-a good family man.
The road I travel,
almost daily, takes me by the entrance of the gated community where his house
is! LOL- It's kind of a thrill to see the tail of the jet sticking up.
All of this can be found online if you are interested...The Star-Banner(or
Ocala Star-Banner) is doing a lot of coverage this week, because of the
movie!
