Cold OJ ?

Last night we had freezing temperatures! Charles put the sprinkler on to run through the night on our Honey Bell orange tree. This is what we saw this morning! Some of our fruit is lost I feel sure, but we hope, not all!

Another cold night ahead, too! :(

There's some pictures of me standing by an orange tree covered in icicles in that box of pictures from 1996.

Hi Alli,

:) yes-I know that picture! Maybe I'll scan it and post it later. I think that tree was in our neighbors yard. (The Smiths)

The icicles forming is a result of spraying the trees with water- so maybe it helped our tree.(hope so)

Love,
Ginga

Hi Junie,
I haven't been by in a few days and I came to catch up with you.
I'm am so sorry to hear about Peaches. I know it wasn't easy to let go.
((Hugs)) for you.
Your slideshow was a wonderful tribute.

I have to say Alli was the cutest little girl. I have to tell you a fell asleep yesterday after All My Children was on and woke up hearing the Plain White T's singing 1,2,3,4 on the next soap. Because of you and Alli I knew who they were!
The national news this evening was talking about you weather. I hope you didn't lose too much.
Take Care.

Hi Carletta,

Thanks for stopping by...Yes-it was very hard and sad to lose my little poodle girl.Hardest thing I've gone through in awhile.I HAD to do the slide show in her memory...

:) Alli will be pleased with what you said about her favorite band-'Plain White T's.'

Lost some of the fruit from the freeze-and are facing more tonight! :( Just the way it is!...But we've had fruit to enjoy since Nov-and there's always next year to look forward to.

Thanks for thinking of us.

Junie
