First things first....
Happy New Year to everyone!
This is the first chance I've had to send my good wishes to anyone for the New Year but here are my heartfelt good wishes for one and all! May we ALL have a wonderful new year!
Secondly....
I'm late with my wishes because... my computer finally (on New Year's Eve) did what it had been threatening to do for awhile...it just gave it all up...quit me cold...left me hanging out in the cold! We tried to reinstall everything but were unsuccessful in getting it started back up!
FRUSTRATING!!!
Today Charles and I spent a few hours in Orlando at the Apple store having the computer checked over. For awhile it seemed they might actually fix it today-but -NO-in the end I had to leave it there. :(
Hopefully it will not be a lot more time I will be off-line- as they got right on the problem and have determined what is causing the shut-downs. We were told they will call in a couple of days! It's under warranty so it will be fixed!
OK-
I'm doing this post on Alli's laptop but I won't try to do much else , other than this post-as it's not ideal using an unfamiliar computer! Also I will not have the use of this computer often anyway...but I just wanted to let you all know I'm still in the world !
You can be sure I have missed the daily contacts with everyone and will be back as soon as I can!

Despite the Apple mystique, they are not without their problems. I don't think this is your first bit of trouble either, is it? At east I seem to remember another episode. Regardless of my prattling, Happy [Belated] New Year to you.
Thank you for checking in, Junie... I was worried!! It's not like you to let a special occasion pass without blogging, so I was hoping nothing had happened to you! I hope you get your computer back really soon. :)

Computers - wonderful when they work well but a pain when they don't, and we miss them so badly!! Hope it's all mended soon. I think mine is needing a little TLC too.

Oh these computer woes....I just had a little scare myself sweetie; but my techie friend fixed me right up....bless her soul. Sometimes I wonder why we do it Junie. Good luck getting it all taken care of sweetie...take care. Hugs, Joy
