Christmas of the past!
Christmas has always been very special for me- even in the leanest of years.
Mom is the one who nurtured the joy of Christmas for me!
Here are some Christmas memories from my early childhood.

Oh Junie, what wonderful memories and I can't believe all the beautiful old pictures you have! Gosh, you made me remember those red or green paper honeycomb bells....my mom always had one hanging in the center of the living room with garland going to the four corners:-)

My mom always LOVED those honeycomb bells! It's just one of the sweet memories I have of her.
Of course, I don't have any of our original ones-but I have some I've had for several years

After we lost Mom-almost 4 years ago- I just started writing down my memories of her-from my earliest age. It helped me a little to get through the grief!
...and because Christmas was such a special time with Mom there are LOTS of Christmas memories!
