Last night - just by chance - I discovered the band, Dire Straits!
... And you're wondering how they escaped me all these years......well, so am I wondering!!

A great band indeed. Another recent CD you may want to look at is David Gilmour "On An Island". You'll know him from Pink Floyd fame. "Island" came out in 2006.

Ah,Junie -- i love that Brothers in Arms CD -- So Far Away -- Money for Nothing -- Walk of Life -- that was such a great album -- Money for Nothing is a very cool video also.....some good stuff from the 80s!!!

i was listening to some old stuff -- probably stuff i included on one of those CDs i sent last -- The Wedding Song (There is Love) -- Daddy Don't you Walk so Fast (Wayne Newton) -- Anne Murray's stuff -- was in some kind of flashback kind of mood -- remembering other times......so much good stuff out there!!!

lol- well, I am only just discovering Dire Straits! And I did see those other songs that you mentioned too. (the Youtubes)
They- and RUSH- are my favorites at this time! Oh! And Pink Floyd, too!
