...Actually...that joke (below) didn't do that much in cheering me up either; not that it wasn't funny-in a goofy sort of way! ;)
Fact is, we have a lot of not funny things going on in our lives right now- Charlie and I!
Charles has some potentially serious health issues to deal with in the next few weeks.
For one, he is having surgery on both his eye lids on November 20th. His vision is being obstructed by the droopy lids. This is not a very serious thing- except there will be some days of recovery-and he's not too good at taking things easy around here!
The other thing is the skin cancer. He got word today that the second spot on his face that was biopsied recently is malignant cancer and will require more cutting out! This will be done in December. We are both concerned about this.
Also, both of us, all of our family - and most of the people we know- are totally baffled and worried sick over this election!
I fear for our country and our freedom more than I ever have in my long life!
Every piece of information that is out there should be considered before casting a vote in this election! We have a right to know the extent and truth of any shadows that hover over the candidates!
There's so much at stake...our whole way of life may be in the balance!

I am so sorry you have all these problems, Junie. I will keep your Charlie in my prayers.
Bob has had many skin cancers. Seven squamous cell and two melanoma and has managed to live through them both. I will pray that will be the case for your Charlie.
I hope Charles will be okay; I know you're both worried but try not to untl or if if you need to be.
That's my thnking; hope it helps, God bless you both.
Margie,
Thanks for your kind thoughts and wishes and prayers.
I know these skin cancers can be successfully treated if caught in time.
I'm happy that your husband got through his too.
Junie

Junie,
Prayers for Charles and you are being sent your way.
The election is almost upon us and I pray for that and the country.
Thinking of you and Charles...I have faith that all will be well with him Junie.....don't worry. Much love to you.... ~Joy
Dear June ~~ I am so sorry Charles has those health problems ~ The eyelids should be OK, as it is simple they tell me. I have one droopy eyelid, which I am ignoring at present. So sorry the surgeons have to operate again on the malignant spot on his face.My late father and also my son have had similar things happen. So I pray they will get it all next time. Try not to worry too
much and look after yourselves. Much Love, Merle.
