My 2 cats seem to still miss their old buddy 'Tiger' who we lost a few weeks ago. For a few days each of them (General, the white cat and Lucy, the gray cat) were quite mopey and standoffish with each other. They are starting to spend more time now, interacting together. I'm happy to see this!
Here they are yesterday, in the shadows of our yard and driveway!

Very pretty cats. I am sorry you lost your other cat. We are posting a memorial to those who have gone before.
They must be so confused and upset, missing their buddy Tiger. Animals definitely do grieve. When my dog Niña died, my cat Hermie spent weeks looking for his dog. It broke my heart.
I'm glad Lucy and General are starting to interact, and am sure they will soon re-bond as a duo rather than as two of a trio. Meanwhile, I just want to hug them!
