Happy Birthday, Zachary!!

  Today is our grandson, Zach's, birthday! He is 26...and I'm wondering how those years passed us by so quickly!!

He spent a lot of time with us all through the years-school holidays-Christmas break-summers...(he lived in Miami and later, Orlando, and we lived in Ocala) Those were the best times- when we had all the "grands" here with us! (Zach and his cousins, Dan, Brian and Alli) I miss it!!

We won't be able to celebrate with Zach tomorrow but plan to get together with most of the family in Orlando later in the month; hopefully, ALL the cousins, (my grands) including our baby Drake!

Tomorrow we will celebrate THIS boy/Man's birthday; our grandson, Brian! His birthday is the 16th, so we'll just pretend it's tomorrow! :) Brian is my 2nd grand child.

Ruby Tuesday 2 ! Aug 28, 2012

On this "Ruby Tuesday 2" day I had a nice outing with my daughter, Tina.

She had bought a couple items at an antique shop and so I went with her to help her unload and set them up at her house.

What she had bought were a small dining table and a wine rack...but they are not RED so I won't show them for this post  ... :)

I did, however, see some neat Ruby Reds at Tina's house...

This rooster sits on top of the wine rack Tina bought! He's so colorful and cheery ~ he makes me smile!!

Her Kitchen clock is quite whimsical also!

Here is a pic of Tina and her grown-up kids, taken at our house in March, 2012. It was Dan's birthday.(#29)

Mellow Yellow Monday-Aug 20, 2012- geese??

This  green mama goose and her mellow yellow baby were a birthday gift from Tina, my daughter; on one of my past, recent birthdays!

  They are favorites of mine and they usually  stand on my  sunny window shelf in our living room. This was the day I got them and I see we were admiring them on the table in my kitchen in this picture.

They certainly brighten a room, where ever they are!

My birthday celebration and Drake's Homecoming

Today was a grand day! We celebrated my birthday (one day late) and our new grandson's homecoming- all in one!

Charles got me this pretty  cake!

..lots of presents...

Tina got home from her hiking/backpacking trip in the Smokey Mts. yesterday, and had lots to show and tell us today!

Little Drake was the main attraction today- as he most likely will be for awhile!

The 'big cousins' here  seemed quite taken with this baby!

I hope Zach, my grandson in Orlando, and  Aunt Didda, (aka-Tammy) my daughter,  will get to come up and meet Drake next week.

 (And also hope  his 2 uncles, Marc and Terry,  can visit soon)
