My Sweet Babies

This is a very early picture of our family. This was Easter in 1965. My little girls were just over 1 yr. and 2 1/2 and my little boy was 5 1/2 .

My 2 girls were so close in age and almost
the same size. They were both very blonde little girls; so pretty!
I often dressed them alike when they were little!

And my little boy was dressed like his dad a lot- a little man!
He was opposite of his sisters- with darker hair and eyes!

We had just moved into our new home... a home we would be in until these kids were all grown up and married!

Behind us you can see my roses! I have always had roses!

These were, mostly, happy years for all of us.

Love,

Ginga

I so love this picture!! Your children were so adorable...I always wanted a little girl so that I could dress her up in frills and lace but it wasn't meant to be! I did try one time putting a pink dress on Corey when he was a few months old, just for the fun of it, but nope, didn't suit him at all! LOL xoxo

You look like the All-American family. My son and daughter are opposite in their hair and eye coloring, too.
My roses are just about ready to burst into blooms. I love roses, too.

Dear Pea,

Thanks for looking-again! haha

I truly enjoyed my time as a young mom...but when you're young there are problems that seem huge at the time-yet-looking back seem small-and you tend to just remember the good times more!

;) my dressing my girls the same -in time- meant that Tina, the youngest, got her sister's hand-me-down clothes lol- so she wore the same dresses for awhile! :)

Little girls are fun- but no more than little boys!

Hugs))

Hi Janet,

Yes-I always felt we had the perfect All American family! :) I enjoyed those young years.

I have always had roses- but at this point in my life I find I don't feel like taking care of them the way I did when I was younger...

Thanks to both of you for your comments!

Most of these old photos are polaroids and very old and in bad shape....trying to restore some of them and share a few of the Easter ones...

:( I regret that I didn't have a better camera in those days!
