Drake and his Dad stopped by today and Drake wanted to check out that scary guy who has been hanging out in our front entrance for a couple of days!

Nope! He was not afraid of him, at all!

Drake is finding this October month to be a fun time! Me too!

Happy Birthday, Zach!

Happy Birthday, Zachary!!

  Today is our grandson, Zach's, birthday! He is 26...and I'm wondering how those years passed us by so quickly!!

He spent a lot of time with us all through the years-school holidays-Christmas break-summers...(he lived in Miami and later, Orlando, and we lived in Ocala) Those were the best times- when we had all the "grands" here with us! (Zach and his cousins, Dan, Brian and Alli) I miss it!!

We won't be able to celebrate with Zach tomorrow but plan to get together with most of the family in Orlando later in the month; hopefully, ALL the cousins, (my grands) including our baby Drake!

Alli-Congrats!!

I just got this in an email from my sweet Alli girl!

"Hey Ginga- I got my badge for work today, and I just wanted to show you I
start orientation on Monday!"


~I'm so proud of her!~

...and the email made me happy!

I guess if you happen to be a boy fascinated with cars, trucks, tractors and motor cycles (or anything with wheels and a motor) you would not pass up a chance to take a ride...even if the "RIDE" is pink and small!

This is a collector car my husband has had on his shelf for many years, and Drake spotted it and wanted to play with it!

 

 We thought he would just push it around the floor with his vooom vooom motor going ...but he actually wanted to ride it, himself! He got on it and waved to us and said "Bye!!"

Hi, Blog Friends!

Hi Blog friends!  

This is the post from my Face Book page yesterday!

It was rainy and windy here yesterday, due to that tropical storm...today is sunny and bright!

I have my baby Drakey today!   :)

Joy had invited 2 young mommies and their babies over for a gathering and play date at her house today! I guess plans have changed-at least it has for the playing in Drake's pool!  ...And it's not a good day for anyone to be out for any reason."

Joy's guests came, even with the rain. Charles and I went over there too, but just for a short while, so I didn't get many pics of the babies together. Only a couple of my baby Drake!!

I was not feeling well so we came home early!

Friday's Fences- (for April 19, 2013) Alabama Horses

These fences might seem flimsy for keeping horses in a pasture- but they work just fine! (electric!!)

Both of these pictures were made in Priceville, Alabama, on

 ( separate) visits to my brother and Sister-in-Law's home. 

These horses are in a pasture next to their place. The little boy and his dad, in the 1st picture, are my nephew and his grandson.  The picture of the man feeding apples to the horses is my brother, Ray!
