Yes! It's always been my favorite one also! This one was created by a friend of my daughter. (Tina's friend)

All were just beautiful-that we saw! A few we never saw except in pictures but I have them all on a big poster! I'm going to frame it one of these days!

I was amazed at the artistic talent we have here in Marion County! The artists got no $$$ for these works-

LOL- It would be hard to do a big project like that and have it turn out so fine....and then just turn it over to be auctioned off! That's the way it was with these horses. Some of them sold for real high prices! Many were bought by businesses-etc- and remained in our town and county! (5 are inthe town square) I'm happy for that!

Hello June my gosh it has been a good long time since I visited your blog and I see sadly that your daughter Tina has been very ill and in hospital I do hope today she is so much better and the worry has lifted from you shoulders just a little for the moment.

Your garden post was lovely the sunflowers from the bird feeder who would think that how lovely.

I am going to have a look at your horse post now and hope to see you again very soon.

blessings for your family.

Hi ec,

Yes, the horses were really pretty and colorful!
So much work and imagination went into the making of them! I was very excited when they were all on display. They were all around town and it was such a pleasure to come upon one, unexpecidly! That was much more fun than if they had all been in one spot!

But I'm sure it was a sight to see when they were all together and auctioned off in the downtown square! There were 52,total- if I remember correctly.

Hi Lee-Ann,

Thanks so much for coming by, and for your good wishes for my daughter. She's much better-but still faces the surgery a little later.

Happy you enjoyed my garden photos. Flowers are among my favorite things!
( lol- you might have noticed that!)

Also- hope you like my posts on our art horses. I have many more pictures I might share from time to time>

Have a wonderful day!

Dear June ~~ I am so sorry Tina has been so sick and hope she will be much better after the surgery. Love the photo of you and your teenagers. Ali looks very like her Mom in that photo. Love the horses, we have cows in Shepparton very similar.
Glad you liked the Little Sister joke. Take care June and my thoughts are with you and Tina. Love, Merle.

Dear Merle,

Thanks very much for your good wishes for Tina. I talked to her today and she is feeling a lot better- still the surgery is ahead.

Glad you like the old photo of us. The girls were 15 & 16-my son 19! Lol... and ME - ABOUT 37!

Some say Alli looks like her mom but I think she looks more like her dad. ;) but she is certainly like her mom in her personality!

Take care,

June
