Our Victory Ride today...
Today we went for a Victory Ride!
We were out only 3 hours to our usual 5 or 6. We went for breakfast and then road around for awhile with no definite destination in mind- other than to spend a few moments remembering Mom.
It was a fine day with that blue Florida sky. Very hot, but pleasant when we were moving!
Too hot to stop for long but here we are stopped to photograph one of the Art Horses.
This one is in front of 'Ocala Breeder's Sales' building.

It was a good day.

Sounds like a beautiful day. How wonderful it is to see your photos and to see how much you as a couple do together. You are very blessed.
I am back from NYC and catching up on friends' posts.
Love that horse and all the horse paddocks with their post and rail fences.
ooh! that cloud looks like show quality :)
Hi Peter,
Thanks!
I love the board fences, too.
I wish I could really capture the beauty of our area here - but it can't be done with a few photos!
B13,
You know what? I didn't even SEE that poodle until I had the pic on my big screen!
LOL-I have such fun with my digital and ALL this computer stuff!! Can you tell!! :)

Maria,
Welcome back! I just read about your NY trip! Sounds like great fun!
Yes, we manage to enjoy our life here! Simple pleasures.
I used to see poodles in the clouds whenever we traveled out West. I always thought of our little toy poodle at home and wondered if it was her way of saying Hi to us while we were away, hehehe.
Lexington, Kentucky had those same kind of colored horses around the city a few years ago. They are so beautiful and I love those board fences too.
Junie, I know that you enjoyed your Victory Ride and tomorrow Jimmy & I are riding over to visit Rachel of Sliding through Life, if it doesn't rain. It's supposed to be in the 90's, so I guess stopping will only be in a shady spot.
You & Charles have a very pretty bike.
Hi Sandy,
Yes, we DID enjoy the ride today but it was really hot and it took a lot out of me! (am I getting old?haha) We love the Victory. It's really pretty and a comfortable ride!
How far do you live from Rachel? I didn't realize at first that you knew each other! I enjoy reading both your blogs! Hope you and Jimmy have a nice ride and a good visit with Rachel!
The horses:
Well I know Florida (OUR PART OF Fl) and KY are both big Horse areas and I had heard that KY also had the ART Horses! It was a big deal here- and lots of fun. They were all on display for several months but then were auctioned off-A lot were bought by businesses and horse farms- etc. and stayed in our town and surrounding areas. It's still a thrill for me to come upon one of them on our rides! I have linked to some others with the labels.
Thanks for coming over! :) Hope you visit again soon.

After you pointed it out I did see a poodle in the clouds, a very cute one at that :)
Looks like you had a fun time!
Sounded like a very fun day! And I do see a fluffy poodle. Next time you can't sleep, count poodles, lol!
EB and Carolyn,
Thanks for coming!
Yes- we always enjoy a ride!
The sky and what fluffy (poodle) cliuds were just perfect. LOL- but the temp. could have been turned down a little!
