Love this - the serene calm elegant heron standing in all the froth.
Nice shot of the heron. It almost looks like he's standing on the water.
I've seen too much snow Junie cause he looks like he's standing in snow. :)
I enlarged it and it's beautiful!
This is a great shot of your heron Junie. I do like that effect on the corners.

We got this picture about 3 years ago on our anniversary trip to Tarpon Springs.

Honestly-I know NOTHING about cameras so I guess I just get lucky a lot! :)
I have a friend who tells me it's the EYE behind the camera that's often more important. I took that as a great compliment because he's a photographer and knows a lot about the subject!
I would say the best thing is just to get out there and take lots of pictures! I take pictures of things I never would have thought of in the past! LOL- when your kids-and , especially grandkids- grow up, you have to turn in other directions!

That's so true, Junie and thank you. My camera is actually broken and I have no idea where to take it. It was wonderful for a while. :)

It's NOT warm here today, altho it IS sunny and LOOKS warm! haha-

Junie, such a beautiful picture of that heron! We see the odd one here in the summer time but certainly not during the winter! lol I always get a kick out of their legs, looks like their knees are bent backward:-) xoxo
Love your heron. I'm down in the Ft Myers area, and love the local wildlife. They sure can be hard to photograph!
