The pictures of the Fashion Frocks showed that even then merchants depicted what they thought was ideal not what was real. Things never change when they are trying to make a buck huh Junie!!!

Whose waists are that tiny anymore...well, noone I know. We're on the same wavelength Junie...just posted a little something about my mom too.
Well, I enjoyed reading that Junie. You still look the same!! I wish I had more photos of when I was little, but they are few and far between. We didn't own a camera and apparently didn't know anyone else that did either.
I am like you; I once had a small waist to match the rest of my body, but in those photos they look like their waists are super small!! You sure don't see folks like that, and most rarely ever did! They probably have corsets on so tight they can't even breathe!!!
