My girls, Tina and Alli,
(my daughter and granddaughter)
always seem to look for the whimsical side of life and, most times, DO find it!!
:)
These pictures reflect the fun way they look at life.

This is a T-shirt that Tina bought on a recent trip to California, with her daughter, Alli!
Needless to say, Tina has embarked on a physical fitness program and they continued with that on the trip. They rented bikes one day and toured the city of San Francisco, including riding across the Golden Gate Bridge, a total of about 15 miles. Tina, also recently, was on a 50 mile back packing hike in the Great Smokey Mountains, over a five day period!
And last week she bought a new bike and is riding it to work (a 20 minute ride each way) She's an RN !! :)
I like this T-shirt but I wouldn't want to get THAT thin!! :)
Alli, too, plans to be a nurse and will graduate next May.
This is Alli's 'Rib Cage' necklace that she recently bought. :)
Those girls just wanna have fun!!
Love 'em to pieces!!

Oh my gosh, I've never seen anything like the 'rib cage' necklace charm. Highly unusual and quirky....I LIKE it. As for the physical work your daughter is doing, more power to her....I'd much rather have some 'meat' on my body too, as you say...NEVER that thin.
I like them both!! Love the ribcage best though!Hahaaaa
hughugs
I've been to Muir Woods only once, but it is one of those sacred places that keeps whispering my name.
Fiery Sunrise
Love both the shirt and necklace!
Love the shirt and the necklace! So, is Alli going for RN? I just wondered because I thought she graduated from HS last year. Don't mind me, Junie. I can't keep anything straight. But, how wonderful that she's following in her mom's footsteps. :)
Have a great weekend!!

Hi Sally,
Alli will be 22 in Dec- so she's been in college for a couple years- She will be through next May- She had college credits going into college because she was in those advanced classes in HS. (can't think what it's called now) She's not sure what she'll be doing just yet but some kind of RN- I'm proud of Alli for sticking to her plan- and doing it with top grades too!
That's wonderful, Junie! Gosh, it seems not that long ago when she was in high school!!! She and Ben would have been so close in age.
I know you're really proud of Alli, and even though I don't know her, I am too!!!
Way to go, Alli!!
((hugs))
Thanks, Sally. Yes, I'm proud of Alli and so happy she has kept on course with her education plans. I know she will be able to have a better life, being well prepared as she is! We always want that for our kids.
Thanks to all for your comments.
