Another night with DAN!
Last night I once again felt drawn to my 'Dan' music...Dan Fogelberg, of course!
I listened to 2 of my CDs way into the night...ending with 'Exiles.' This one has some very beautiful, if sad, songs of love ...or rather- lost love. It was produced after the break-up of his second marriage, I think!
This is a Video I found of Dan singing 'Language of Love' (but not from the 'Exiles' album)
Enjoy!

You know I never just sit and listen to music...the CD's are in my car and that's when I listen...you must be a real and devoted fan!!
:-D
I don't watch much TV anymore. The music has taken the place of that for me. It's usually at night, when I get into the music, and I can listen while doing laundry or stuff in the kitchen...or sometimes when I'm writing or doing computer stuff.
The past couple years I have been more interested in music than I ever was before (due to some friend's influence on a music forum I visit) I just like to check out different music that I was unaware of before-and I find there's just soo much out there that I was missing!
However- I have been a devoted fan of Dan Fogelberg since the early 70s.

you might enjoy a visit to this site June, glad you liked "Rhythm of the rain" it's due for a change... what will I put on next????
Peter,
Oh,yes!! I LOVED your last song selection- 'Rhythm of the Rain' (Dan!!!)
As for what you'll put on next...bet it won't be 'The Who!' ;)
That link you posted didn't work for me!
June
Like you, I don't watch tv much anymore and much prefer to listen to music no matter what I'm doing. Yummm, Dan sure looks good on that cd cover doesn't he!! hehe
Not you've got my tears welling up just remembering "Last Farewell". I haven't listened to that cd in years because it is too sad.
I have 3 certain tv shows that I watch, or tape when I can't be there. Otherwise, maybe a Special or something.
I really miss the new movies-made-for-tv that were on Sunday nights. Other than HALLMARK productions, the networks aren't giving much good, new material.
We don't have cable, so music cds and dvd rentals is a nice way to crochet away my evenings.
To Diane,
'Exiles' is one of my favorite 'Dan' albums! He is such a talented artist! I just love ALL that he has given us over the years!
...as for TV- I just feel like most of it is a big waste of time.
I'd much rather be listening to music-and doing something useful at the same time!
Junie
Pea,
YES! Yummm is right! :) But he ALWAYS looks good!
Better still is the way he sounds and the songs he writes!
(that picture, though, makes a girl just wanna 'hug' him!
He looks so sad!)
