More family times... (for the family)
The biggest gathering of the Kellum connected Clan was on Saturday.
Several who didn't make the Friday night gathering were there on Saturday!
It turned out to be a beautiful day, after a few early morning showers!
The past several years we have been having this reunion at a very nice community center. It's very roomy, clean and nicely decorated and painted-and with a fully equipped kitchen. And -best of all -air conditioned! This is a real PLUS for a July in Alabama!
Our Friday nights have recently been held at a church ...which also is very nice and comfortable and right next door to one of C's sisters; making it very handy, indeed! Folks visit with Eva - help prepare snacks- etc- then when it's time, gather up the goodies and just walk the short distance to the church next door!
It was suggested that we might want to change the time of year of having this reunion...Some dates were suggested-and it was decided it would be in November next time! ...Well... I thought-OK- Nov. of 2008! LOL- NO! They meant starting THIS Nov 8th. Not sure we can make a trip again that soon! I was - sort of- hoping for a trip to see the leaves in NC again in late October! ;( We'll see what happens!
Anyway- some pics of the gathering on Saturday-July 21, 2007.

Charles and me at my brother's house...about to leave for the Kellum reunion~
And the rest were at the gathering~~~
(to the family) I'm sorry - I've missed a few people again!
Love,
Junie

Great pictures and it's wonderful that they found a hall with a/c.
Thanks, Susie.
Yes- a very nice place to gather!
Years ago when we went to Al on visits we would have outdoor dinners!
This was very uncomfortable in the summer-with the heat AND insects!

I think it's absolutely wonderful that you have this reunion once a year...all families should do that!! Loved seeing all the pictures, so many memories you and Charles made again:-) xox
Thanks Pea,
It's always fun seeing everyone.
