Note: Charles is feeling better today and the swelling around the eyes has gone down, some! He'll be back to normal soon, I think! Cool! I was wondering if I could pull that Thanksgiving dinner off , on my own! :) Now it looks like I'll have my usual help in the kitchen next week!
~~~
I'm feeling better today, also, after being up later last night and sleeping a little later this morning! That way seems to work better for me! I don't like it when I wake up before 6:00! Late nights are my time for relaxation - usually with music! Last night was especially good and I ended the night with my favorite LOUD Rock band - THE WHO!
The best ever!
Got to get going and get some stuff done...Tonight I will need to do some baking of goodies!
Have a great day!
I'm playing catchup, Junie. So glad that you and Charles both are feeling better. Those oranges are so delicious looking!
It's good you'll have your usual kitchen help for Thanksgiving, and I hope it will be a wonderful day for y'all. I'll be in W. Fla visiting relatives. My daughter and granddaughter are volunteering again this year, so I'm heading out of town. I KNOW, I should be helping them, but I need a little getaway. :)
I'm coming right over for a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice!!! My goodness, but that sure would taste good right about now:-)
Glad to hear that Charles is already starting to feel better, you just can't keep a good man down for long!!
I've been going to bed really early these last few nights because I'm so exhausted from standing at the kitchen counter for hours on end and I actually sleep the whole night through! I was worried I'd be awake during the night...like you, I hate waking up before 6! lol xoxo
I know how you feel about the health issues. It's hard to slow down when you are used to doing.
Those oranges look delicious!
Sally,
Have a good trip and a good holiday.
We have folks over that way too- in Milton, Pace and Pensacola- but we haven't visited in a long while.
Charles has always been very good to help on these big holidays- I probably couldn't do near as much without his help!
He's getting better- but that surgery has been pretty bad for him!
Take care-
Hugs))
Thanks
Pea and Dot
Wish I could share some of these good oranges- They are delicious.
Junie
Yum! Wish you could email me some of that orange juice!! (And thanks for your email today, even though it was juiceless!)
Glad Charles is on the mend and will be able to help on Thanksgiving!
I've missed a couple of days here, but I'm awfully glad that Charles' eye surgery went well and he's on the mend now Junie. He was a real trooper to let you put his picture on your blog, but he'll be back to normal and before you know it. The main thing is that he's feeling okay. At least he'll be right there in the kitchen with you for Turkey Day. You always make such great things for Thanksgiving and I know you like everything to be perfect sweetie....but don't worry about it all. I'm kind of the same way...but Xmas will be my crazy time this year. I'll be thinking about you Junie....relax and enjoy yourself....you deserve it!
Glad you're feeling a little more up. Highs and lows are normal. Keep the faith.
Glad everyone is better and you will have your help back. I love the picture. What a good looking couple! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Junie.
So glad Hubby's surgery turned out well!! And that orange juice looks WONDERFUL! I can almost Taste it!!hahaa....hughugs
Thanks, all you guys!
You're the greatest blog buddies in the world! :)
Junie
