I can remember when I first came to Florida, I thought it was so odd to see little lizards. Now, I barely even notice them.
I love lizards ... love to see them in my garden. Sort of tells me ... all is well!
We don't have lizards over here so it always amazes me to know that they are part of your life over there! I don't know how I'd react if I ever saw a real one! lol xoxo

We had lots of NZ geckos around our house back home. They would lose their tails if you tried to grab them by that part of their body.
I still can see the look on my daughter's face, I think she was about two at the time, when she caught one and it scampered off leaving her holding it's detatched tail...
