My post this time goes waaay back...to a time and place totally distant
-in all ways-
from my life now.
This was taken on my one and only trip to NYC, in 1982. We were there with our daughter who was getting settled into FIT college.
I guess this is Time's Square~ right? :)

Oh, Junie, I was there ONE time also. Never had any desire to go back, but it was definitely an interesting experience. ALL THOSE TAXI CABS!!!! hahaha
hahaah- yes-I remember those taxi cabs! LOL- I lost a shoe, trying to cross a street...had to hold up traffic-;) They were kinda 'Not too happy' with me-but I'm lucky they didn't run me over!!

That's a nice red find. I've never been to NYC - someday.
My brother and his son just spend a few days in New York near Macy's. They had a great time.
Times Square? Not how I picture it. :)

I once lost my shoe in the subway grating
so there I was - one shoe on as the train doors closed and my other shoe was standing there on the platform!!

Checked with my husband and he said this was, indeed, Time's Square! It's been a long time since this was taken!
:) ...funny about your shoe also...
I wonder if that happens often- because everyone seemed so rushed-when we were there...if your shoe comes off-tough luck!! :)
