Savannah memories~ and my Sepia Scene figurine
Note about my recent SS photo and post
To:
Carletta and all who might be interested in the book and statue-etc...
It's a very interesting book to read-and made even more so because it's a true story! Lots of quirky characters-in fact- MOST are! It reads like fiction with all the colorful characters; you almost think they HAVE to be from someone's wild imagination! :)
It was fun visiting the city and being able to find all the places mentioned in the book.
Bonaventure Cemetery is one of those places-and the original stature
( my Sepia Scene figurine pic) once stood in the cemetery but had to be removed-for safe keeping- after the book became such a big success.

interesting post today-- Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
Beautiful statute, Junie. Hope your weather is better than ours today; rain, tornadoes, thunder, etc. All is well though in my corner. ((hugs))
That is indeed a beautiful statue! I haven't read the book but I have heard about it of course. It would indeed have been fascinating to visit all the places mentioned in the book so I'm glad you got to do so:-) xoxo
Thanks for visiting, Ladies!
