This is my choice for this time.
This book was entertaining to read - based on a true story - set in a most intriguing old city in the south-
Savannah, Ga.
This stature is mentioned in the story.
:)
I had to have one when we visited Savannah on our anniversary a few years ago!

Lots of sparkle.
I've thought of reading that book many times and never did.
How wonderful to have the statue.
I love your sepia processing and the oval framing - well done!
Love the music. :)
Carletta’s Captures.
It was indeed a good book and one that even if you don't remember the plot the cover signals that you have read it and enjoyed it. I'm going to have to pull out my copy and refresh my memory.

Yes-it's sparkly- the figurine stands about 14" and the finish is a bronze tone in color!
Thanks for coming by.

Carletta,
It's a very interesting book to read-and made even mor so because it's a true story! Lots of quirky characters-in fact- MOST are! It reads like fiction with the all the colorful characters; you almost think they HAVE to be from someone's wild imagination! :)
It was fun visiting the city and being able to find all the places mentioned in the book.
Bonaventure Cemetary is one of those places-and the original stature ( my Sepia Scene figurine pic) once stood in the cemetery but had to be removed-for safe keeping- after the book became such a big success.
I did an update on my blog with a link for more info about the cemetery

Beautiful sepia statue and I like how you framed it.
Happy Sepia Scenes a day late!
I never heard of the book.
