Ruby Tuesday ~ For Aug 26, '08

Ruby Tuesday again!

Visit Mary, The Teach for more Ruby Tuesday posts!

I'm doing a re-run of some pics I've had on before, as I haven't felt like getting out, much, the past few days for any new pictures!

...But I think this little lady fits just fine in her red hat!
:)

Charles bought her for me a couple years ago when we were at a flea market in Mount Dora, Fl.

:) One of my daughters said, "Mom, she looks just like you!"

Oh, my goodness! I wasn't seeing myself in quite that way......until that moment! haha

Well...this lady does seem to like some of the same music that I like! :)

Rock On!

Great post.

Hope you're feeling better.

What a cute doll!
Back in the 1960's I had a most delicious meal at a restaurant in Mt. Dora.

Maybe she was a groupie of The Who in the day...

Nice pic, Kieth Moon was a great drummer with other challenges, and to see the original shot of The Who wrapped up in the Union Jack...maybe I'm getting old, too!

Great shot and some great tunes to back it up!
Very cool all around.

Hi Ralph,

:) Yah- I bet she was a groupie!!

Oh, yes! Moonie was a great drummer , from what I've heard and seen- but wild and crazy!!

I wasn't into THE WHO in the old days...(I was busy being a young mom) I just became a WHO fan in the last 2-3 years! But-IMO - they were the best Rock band -ever! :) I got to see them in concert last year. (In Tampa, Fl) What a thrill that was for me!

Lol-I probably looked like that old Red Hat Lady I just posted here!

Hi Dot,

Mt. Dora is a beautiful little Fl. town! They have several arts and crafts shows throughout the year which we love to attend. One is an antique boat show that my husband likes!

Thanks for coming by again.

My mother-in-law has a similar doll with the poem "When I am an Old Woman I shall Wear Purple!

Very funny!

What a delightful doll! I'd love to look just like her when I grow older! hehe

I've had you in my mind all day today, wondering how you made out for the stress test. Hopefully it all went well and wasn't too hard on you. I know what you mean about being nervous when you have no idea what they will be doing. Keeping you in my prayers!! xoxo

Dear Pea,

All went well with the tests and all 'IS' well. No heart problems - of which I am thankful.

Don't know what caused the problem...just hope it doesn't happen again!
