In remembrance of Dan Fogelberg on his birthday...

In the early 70s I was able to meet Dan and get this picture standing beside him. Oh, yes, this was a big thrill for a new and devoted fan!

(...and, as blurred as this photo is, I still

treasure it!)

This was the 2nd of a dozen times I saw him perform over the years...the last time being in his final "Full Circle" tour.

Thank you for the music, Dan!

Although this song is about a life style most of us know little about...the words still touch me. I'm reminded how all our lives are about 'Turning the Page,' ...how we have to end one chapter and begin another, over and over throughout our life.

Sarah's beautiful song is perfectly suited as the music for these images of 9-11 - a day in our history that none of us will ever forget.

As hurtful as pictures of this day are, I will always feel compelled to remember and review and reflect., especially on the anniversary. I feel we owe that to the people who lost their lives so needlessly on that fateful day 10 years ago.

OK-My girls (daughter and granddaughter) have made me a proposition! They are going to NYC over Thanksgiving and they want me to go with them...Jason Mraz is playing Carnegie Hall the day after Thanksgiving and of course there's the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade!! The plan is to fly early on Wednesday and return late Saturday. That will give us a little sightseeing time around the city! Sounds like a plan, ehh? Am I up to it? (If I commit, I will HAVE to be!)

    June Kellum Well, I have said 'yes!' Tina has to get the tickets soon, so I had to decide ( tickets for the show) It's just that it's hard to plan ahead so far- not knowing what changes might take place in the meantime! Hope I can get to feeling better between now and Nov-lol- if not I'll just have to FAKE IT! (Tina and Alli are good at planning trips so I'm in good hands! haha)

Last Christmas I got this set of 4 Beatles  tiles from my granddaughter, Alli!

I plan to frame them all together and hang them in my music corner!
