Here in north Fl (sadly) we don't get the colorful leaves in autumn. In fact, it still looks a lot like summer here, but I do notice a slight coolness in the air; especially early mornings.

We still have a lot of flowers blooming, though, and a few are in shades that make me think of the fall colors of the places further north!

...And I DO have fake fall leaves to make my place look festive!

What's more beautiful than a pink rose? I can't think of anything... except maybe a baby girl in a pink dress.

I don't happen to have a baby in pink but I DO have some lovely pink roses.

This frilly rose, hanging down this way, reminds me of the crinolines we girls wore under our full skirts in the 50s; although I never had a petticoat THIS pretty!

This is the birthday week of Beverly at the home of

around our place this week!

The Crepe Myrtles are in full bloom here now...and while out taking pictures of them I noticed (probably for the 1st.time) that these clumps of puffy and frilly blooms each have a touch of yellow at the centers! Here are the white ones and a dark pink one. We have a few other colors too!

The other potted flowers shown are a 'Dancing Lady Orchid,' and an annual called 'Kalanchoe.'
