Hi there from Australia!
Man, your scout niform is so different to ours here! But, I gotta ask, what is a Eagle Scout? Is it like our 'Venturers which are aged from 15-18? Or is it our normal scouts 12-15?
I was a Cubscout Leader (8-11) for 5 years and then a Venturer Leader for 6. I have now let it all go for family reasons..
Well done with all the badge work to by the way... B.R.A.V.O.O.O (do you guys do that over there??? Where are you to BTW?)

Hi'B'
Very nice to hear from Australia.
As for your interest in our Boy Scouts, I only know Eagle Scouts is acheived after many years of being in scouting, and it's the last stage (not younger boys)
There are requirements that must be met at all stages of scouting; a lot of community service involved-A lot of camping trips, all sorts of outdoors activities, and learning and using skills necessary for all these things.
My grandson, Zach, was age 18 when he reached this point and was awarded the honor of Eagle Scout. He was in scouts, starting in Cub Scouts at about age 7 or 8, and stayed with it all through the years; through high school-he's now in Jr. College (and officially out of scouting but will always have the title of Eagle Scout!!
Sorry I don't have more specifics to give you!
My grandson is in Orlando,Fl.(Central Fl) and I live in Ocala, Fl- which is about 85 miles north of Orlando.
Thanks for your post.
BTW- will check out your blog too.
Junie
