holy hoppin' horsetoads -- you were just a baby when you had that baby,junierosemarie......what wonderful memories you shared -- congrats to chris on graduating from LPN school -- going on to be an RN? and happy birthday!!!!
:) Hi, Bonnie-
That I was (a baby) - just 18 and 4 months when my son was born.
AHH-yes- I enjoyed being a (very) young mom! Always had fun with my kids.
Chas. and I have been married 45 years this past April...so I should explain...
My first marriage was when I was not quite 17...but ended before I had my son! Charles and I married when Chris was 1 1/2 years old - so has always been his 'Dad.'
LOL- Now - who says you can't learn from yer mistakes!!
Chris hopes to continue with his training. One of my daughters is an RN
Wow, Junie, you were VERY young! I was 22 when Jonathan was born, and I felt extremely young even then! You have the same configuration of children as I do: a boy first, then three years later a girl, and a second girl following very shortly after!
Chris was a little cutie, for sure! And so were your girls, with their blonde hair! :)
Hi Skye,
ahh- yes- my girls are 3-and 4 years younger than Christopher. So by the time I was a little under 23 I had my family! :)
...and as for my son being a cutie- YES he was. I guess every new mom feels her first child is the most special in the whole world! I did!
...lol- and added to that-very soon- I had 2 adorable little girls!...Had my hands full, for sure!
Those memories I will always treasure- my kids' growing up years!
I know there were hard times along the way-problems, as all families have...but from HERE the times seem wonderful! :) Each picture brings back a special memory!
Thanks for coming by, Skye!
Hope things are going well for you! Will visit your site soon!

Junie,
Happy Birthday to your son, Christopher. Congratulation on the LPN school. (Is that the same as LVN?)
Loved seeing the pics of you back then. You & I had our children as children ourselves, didn't we!
Hi Sue,
Yes I think they are the same - LVN & LPN (Licensed Practial Nurse)
So you had your babies young too! How many children do you have?
Junie
wow june -- at that age i can't even imagine having a baby!!! i didn't get married until i was 27 and didn't have cory until i was almost 33 -- waverly when i was almost 38 -- but i knew i would be the oldest mom at the PTA meetings -- hahaha -- actually it was surprising to me by the time she got into elementary school the number of grandparents that were raising their grandchildren!!! sometimes i wish i would have started younger so i could have had more!!!! congratulations, june -- i know you are very proud of your family and i enjoy reading about them and seeing their pictures.
:) well, for sure, I was always among the youngest moms!
I have wished I had had a couple more kids... :(
I'm glad you're enjoying my pictures, Bonnie! :) Yes, my family mean the world to me!
Thanks for coming around!
Junie
Goodness, your son is the same age as my sister! Congratulations to your whole clan, on the birthdays and schooling.
Licensed Practical Nurse and Licensed Vocational Nurse have the same training and duties. The title is whatever the state and institution want to call it.
A family in our church just had a 4th baby. The mother just beams, and she is so organized and her children have good manners. So 'altogether', ya know?
I could barely get my act together with 3 sons. Seemed like just when I got used to one age/stage, they grew some more and found something else to push the limits. All three have college and jobs and friends, but I had been hoping for an easier, more enjoyable time of getting them raised up.
Then again, the genes and attitudes of a couple stubborn parents are bound to show up in our younguns.
Thanks for reading these little tidbits of our life! :)
Raising 3 boys would have to be a job!! :)
...of course- all of that is far behind me now...lol- and I've gone through having a big hand in helping to raise 4 grandkids too!
;) can't say I've ever been that much of an orginized person, myself, but we made it through somehow!
